10 minute walk from Tivoli Hotel to a scenic little beach. Approach down a lot of steps or via the roadway. Beach is coarse sand and drops quickly. Take the boat trip to visit the caves from here (1 hour) and well worth it. Cafe/restaurant...More

Typical coarse sand of the area, strong currents and steep access so would not recommend for children. Beautiful area, lovely sea swimming for adults, with O stop restaurant for refreshments.

Can approach this beach by walking on pathways, driving or walking on the cliffs. There is no shelter at all from the sun so beware. The cafe is also quite expensive which is what they do when you're a captive audience.

Enjoyed every bit of this beach. It is very close to the hotel we stayed in. We loved spending hours in this beach instead of venturing in the more popular beaches.

This is a popular beach within walking distance of Carvoeiro. IF you are driving, there is a reasonable amount of parking on the hill leading down to the beach. There is a beach bar/restaurant called O Stop and in suitable weather they set up tables...More
