This city is vibrant. Thanks to its location, Faro manages to maintain a calm atmosphere and the charm of the tradition that floats above, surrounded by beautiful walls, the Old Town. I spent a wonderful time there with my family. Streets full of charm, pubs...More

Lovely place to visit, especially the Anchor, Faro's oldest pub. Nice ice cream parlour on the corner of the marina as well, also a good cocktail bar on the marina front. .

Very pleasant walk around the old town of Faro. Found ourselves just sitting on a bench in the sunshine, seemed like we were going back in time. Some lovely lemon trees and blossoms. There is a bell tower you can climb up to.

Love visiting this place when we go on holiday. Great restaurants some near the beach front, bars, entertainment, shops. Sand sculptures when you enter Old Town are excellent & all the old buildings to look at are beautiful.

Stroll around the small cobbled streets of this town with loads of character, many of the "ancient" buildings now converted into places to eat/drink.

Beautiful place to visit. Not too big, and easy to get around. The land train is a great way to relax and take in the sights.
