Faro airport is a nightmare!!! I will never visit portugal ever again until they get there customs sorted as waiting in a queue for over a hour just isn't good enough. Europe making it difficult for British passangers is going to affect portugals economy when people stop going on holiday there

I was in Faro last week for a conference and had little time to explore the city, etc. I had a few hours so decided to visit the Forum Algarve to do some shopping. I stayed at Hotel Eva. A taxi took me there. When I was ready to leave, I called a taxi which never came. I went to the Information Desk and she called another taxi which a rude customer grabbed before I could take it. In short, this process went on for two hours when I tried in vain to get help from various mall employees including security. Nobody could help me. Needless to say, the experience was very stressful. Finally one employee called an Uber for me and I reimbursed her. The reason I am writing this review is to warn future shoppers that you may not be able to get back to your hotel when ready to leave the Forum because nobody at the mall seems to care about the welfare of their shoppers.

This shopping centre was perfect if you want fast food or basic needs and browsing.. They have a few shops and a Starbucks, very America/British.
Not many tourists are aware that There's a free bus from here to the airport and old town, and return. It does a circle so you can get to any three for free!!!
Save your money ☺

We got a bus from the casino at vilamoura to the shopping centre - it cost €4 each one way, and took around 45 mins to get there.
Buses run about every 30 mins.
There is a good selection of shops - sports zone, C&A, bershka, Claire's accessories, body shop, MAC, accesorize, sweet shops, sketchers, glasses shops. Good choice of food places - McDonald's, Burger King, KFC, Pizza Hut as well as healthy eating. There also appeared to be a baby food area with microwave and bottle warmers
We went to the jumbo at the bottom of the mall, it's huge and sells just about everything! Including a huge pic and mix aisle!

I would recommend visiting this mall if you are heading for any of the resorts in the Algarve. It's very convenient as it is only a short drive from the airport and it has a great selection of fashion shops, eating places and a huge Jumbo (Auchan) hypermarket that offers all you could need at very good local prices. The mall has all the facilities you would expect and has ample parking but take a snap of your space on your phone so you can easily locate your car when you leave. Kids have play areas, toilets are spotless and there is free Wi-Fi so you don't have to spend money on roaming whilst you are there. The mall is easy to navigate and there are escalators and lifts for those who need easy access. On the way out there is a handy BP filling station where you can refuel your hire car on route to your resort. The forum has lots to offer and with your sat nav on your phone should be easy to find when you arrive at Faro airport.

Lots of various shops and places to eat, includes a large supermarket for stocking up on supplies whilst on holiday. Open on sundays and only 15 mins walk from faro . for location check website as incorrectly placed on TripAdvisor which I have reported

The latest chain to surface both here and in the UK. This has to be the cheapest and nicest coffee in the Algarve. 90 Cents for a latte and they do a great range of soups and snacks. You can also get a pastel de nata here, why wouldn't you give them a try, I will be back for sure.
You can get the bus to here, it stops just outside from Albufeira, Oljhaus, Vilamoura, Quarteira etc.

This shopping centre is comparible to the one in Guia. This one is a bit more fun and the set-up is a bit friendlier and with more open spaces. Many very good shops, Lacoste, Gant, Massimo Dutti etc. as well as a very good and very busy Food Court. Busy in summer and winter. Great food like in the Chinese buffetrestaurant "Happy Family" and a couple of others, "life cooking" as well. Large supermarket Continente, juweler shops, great parking facilities. If you have half a day spare this is the right place to go. Enjoy! And for the shopaholics, Faro has a couple of nice shops as well.....

Of the three malls in the Algarve (Aqua Portimao and the Algarve shopping centre near Albufeira being the other two), this is perhaps the nicest. It's spacious and quite open. The stores are perhaps slightly better too. The food court has a good range of options. There is ample free underground parking and it is right next door to the airport. Also contains a large hypermarket and cinema. Not a bad place to kill a few hours if you've had your fill of the beach and fancy a wander around some shops.
