Lovely little place for a wander especially at night. The area is all lit up and I felt safe walking here every night we were in Faro.

You can sit and watch the world go by or go to the nearby Marina and watch the sunset. Lots of little Restaurants and bars to visit and shops open until late on Fridays. Sometimes musicians on the corners to add to the ambiance.

A lovely cobble stoned area where you can eat at a number of restaurants and shop a bit as well. The evenings are charming and have great atmosphere. The sea breeze makes the place beautiful.

There are some very nice shops and restaurants in this area. The walkways are done in small mosaic-like cobblestones in traditional designs. Great atmosphere in the evenings. Some very pricey shops mixed with great bargains.

Great area to walk around. The commercialization is more restrained than in other Algarve towns with none of the awful souvenir shops and junk food places. There is a McDonalds on the street but you would hardly notice it when walking passed as it blends...More
