This wasn’t good. Started fine but I think by the time we reached stage eight the driver lost her way. We where given a piece of paper saying what was of interest at each stage on the map but after stage eight we never saw...More

What a shame. We thought we would enjoy this trip around a lovely little city...wrong. If you like being shook to pieces for a 45 minute trip and breathing in diesel fumes from the “train” then this is for you. We both felt terribly sick...More

This is a lovely way to see the city, a small train which rumbles through the city streets. There is commentary which speaks of the city's history and points out the main sights to see. I took this train as soon as I arrived, it...More

We caught the 1 o’clock train from the park near the bus station and went on a long and very interesting trip round the city. We were only in Faro for one day and would never have seen all this at a very cheap price....More

The 3pm departure left 20 minutes later while the “ management team “ took the €2.75 per person in a totally chaotic fashion, no receipts..hmm interesting cash control process..wonder who benefits from that.. All it takes is a bit of brains and an organised receipt...More

Recommend a train excursion - 4 euro each one way. You could get a taxi instead but you can’t beat the relaxing nature of the travel as well as the scenic route. Ideal for children and tourists.

Underwhelming really, as Faro has very few highlights once you're away from the old town, which you can walk to in 2 mins anyway. You will, however, get up close to the most graffiti strewn town you've ever seen! It's a shame the civic authorities...More

For the price of 4 euros you can explore the town and surrounding area by popping on and off the 'noddy' train at your pleasure. There are 8 stops and the tour takes about an hour to complete. The ride is a bit bumpy in...More

Okay if you have kids and want to ride the little train, but has no a/c and gets very hot inside. We used it just to get into the old town, but it turns out we would have been cheaper and more comfortable getting a...More
