This beach is beautiful and something which wouldn't look out of place on a film set. Having stayed at the Meia Praia also having this glorious beech so close have us the choice of the beach or the pool

Really long and gentle sandy beach. The kids loved it and we walked for miles. Popped into Linda's beach bar for a great lunch.😃

Fantastic long, sandy, safe, south facing beach. Always plenty of room but even quieter at far end, to get there drive as far as Meia Praia railway station and cross the tracks to the car parks. Number of nice restaurants bars and ice cream places...More

The beach is amazing, a little windy but it is welcoming as the sun shines a lot here! Brilliant for surfing/windsurfing and watersports.

Although it was relatively early in the season we could not understand why a great beach such as this was not full of the people that were utilising the associated resorts. Without doubt it is the best beach we have ever visited

Not much point describing the hotel itself, you must have looked at all the photos and seen its a very modern angular construction, all clean lines and right angles, puts you in mind of either a new airport terminal of private hospital, especially the reception...More

Really lovely quiet beach. Small restaurants along the beach and reasonable prices. Can be reached by no2 bus or small road train. Gorgeous sunsets.

This beach is approximately 2.5 miles long with perfect yellow sand. We found the beach clean, not overcrowded and ideal for friends or family. You can also take up water sports or sunbathe on the paid sun loungers.

Most of the beach has car parks and cafes and restaurants. I'm not too sure if a wheelchair can use the beach as the boardwalks are short and the sand soft away from the tide. It may be best if you check with the Lagos... More

There is a bus that serves that area, you just have to ask for the timetable. Also the little train, and it is walking distance from the town center, depending which part of Meia praia you are and considering it is a 3 miles... More
