Sealife is a small company that has specialised in dolphin watching on the Atlantic Ocean. We are operating from the Marina of Lagos in the Algarve, the southern district of Portugal. From April through November we organise ocean safaris onboard our rigid inflatable boats, accompanied by our Marine Biologists, with the objective of showing you wild dolphins in their natural environment and/or other ocean wildlife such as birds, whales, porpoises, turtles, sunfishes or even sharks.

Sealife use a fast RIB to take you out onto the water which is an experience in itself. For our trip, we spotted some Dolphins early and there were several pods active while we were out and we were able to get within a few feet of several. Overall the staff were very professional, gave a good explanation at the... More

We picked this trip after researching the best dolphin experiences in Lagos. After a bit of a search on the boat we came across a creche pod of dolphins and they were everywhere! Mammies and their babies jumping and playing, coming up to the boat and swimming under it. The small boat meant everyone got a chance to move around... More

We went dolphin watching last week with SeaLife. It was my second trip but, my husbands first. The boat ride is great fun and you get an amazing view of the coastline. The staff are very friendly and helpful. While searching they keep you entertained by sharing their knowledge about the dolphins. Before long we were alongside a pod of bottlenose... More

We went on the dolphin trip and were far more interested in rushing about on a rib than actually seeing dolphins. How wrong we were! We were taken 10 miles out to sea to find the dolphins and when we reached them, we couldn't believe how many there were! The dolphins swam under the boat, leapt out of the water... More

After having researched Tripadvisor for the best dolphin watching possibilities, we chose Sealife/BomDia. We were not disappointed. Despite the trip starting half an hour late (it is Portugal, after all) we had a fantastic boat trip - and, after some 50 minutes of searching found a superpod estimated at approximately 50 dolphins. The trip took slightly longer than 1.5 hours... More

Took their 'dolphins' tour last Saturday - beautiful day, fairly choppy seas, and the dolphin were about 30 mins ride away, so we had a brilliant bouncy boat trip plus sightings of several dolphins. An expensive treat, but a real high point of our holiday.

We booked with Sealife after reading the reviews on this site and seeing their smaller boats. We were prepared for disappointment and as much as i was telling myself to treat it as a boat ride, as soon as we were out at sea i was desperate to see dolphins. We were not disappointed. We were lucky enough to spend... More

After perusing all the competing stands and doing a bit of research (a la Trip advisor of course), we booked an early morning trip on Sealife's Lord of the Dolphin's RIB. We were advised that we may be unlucky and not get to see any Dolphins; there is no guarantee given as these beauties are in their natural habitat. That... More
