Praia do Pinhão is a typical quiet, sandy cove, and, as with most other beaches in Lagos, this one also offers some beautiful views. However, the stairs leading down to the sand are a bit of a challenge, not because of the number of stairs...More

There are a string of small beaches just south of the town that are worth a visit. Despite being only a few minutes walk away they do not have an urban feel. The cliffs protect you from the town. You may need to brave the...More

We absolutely loved this beach as we ended up swimming to 4 other small secluded beaches - all with stunning views, caves, tunnels and the most amazing scenery. We were here on a hot summers day on 18 July and it was not too busy...More

You can beach hop all day in this area, but Pinhao was our favourite one. Pretty quiet with few rocks in the water, it's perfect for a lazy day.

It is not a big beach. It is surrounded by natural rocks which make the beach very beautiful. There is no cafe of life guard which makes it even more natural.
