Too expensive, for a táxi style service or for touring around. Unfortunately its electric which means you can here every single, truck, bus, car in full effect, not forgetting its an open cab service.

Good evening, sorry to hear that you didn´t like the trip. Please tell us when was your trip (date), also what trip you book, who was your driver and where was the pickup for the trip. All the things that you are saying, could be almost impossible to be us. We don´t make táxi servisse, when you book, you know that the Tuk Tuk was completely electric for ecotourism, also you already know that the Tuk Tuk is completely open. Why you didn´t say to the Driver/Tourist guide your bad experience??? Because if you told us we could talk with you right away, and try to know why was your bad experience. In this 5 years and 6 mounths that we are working, and we were the first Tuk Tuk company in Algarve, in all that time you are the first one to complain, we already receive 3 International Tourism Awards, and we are the Tuk Tuk compnay with more awards in Portugal, for that we need to know the the information we ask in the begining of the replay, to know what was wrong. We walked off the boat and Vchaveca was waiting for us with a big smile. He was always polite and informative. We did a brief visit of the city and then went on to a nice wine tour of Quinta Do Frances. Afterwards we enjoyed a super port wine tasting. Onward to Castelo de Silves for a super lunch. Would highly recommend this tour.…

We had a terrific tour of Portimao and environs with Vasco, who is a well-educated, articulate, gracious guide, and a safe driver. He dropped us off at a beach for a while, then returned to pick us up. We could not recommend him, and his tour experience, more highly.

We saw this tour advertised and it seemed to be out of the ordinary. We were picked up at our resort by the very friendly driver/guide in his modern electric vehicle and were very lucky as we were the only two people booked. We set off for Silves and it was certainly very different - travelling along the roads in the fresh air with the smell of oranges and orange blossom all around. On arrival in Silves, a lovely old town, we were taken up to the top of the hill and dropped off at a little cafe outside the castle where were treated to a port wine tasting. After sampling the three different varieties we were left to our own devices to explore the castle and then make our way slowly down through the town at our own pace as we were to be picked up some three hours later. After an extensive tour of this delightful town and an excellent lunch, we met our driver in the car park for the return journey. This took a different route and included a stop at a local vineyard where we were able to see the new vintage being bottled before going upstairs to taste several different wines. The tasting samples were very generous and we did not follow the rules and spit the wine out after tasting! Consequently we were very happy that we did not have to drive back to our villa.
