Alamos Golf course is a short but stunning test for golf. Having stunning views of the Monchique mountains, lakes and farmland, there is a real sense of getting away from it all here. It is shorter than Morgado (Par 71) but it has all the features...more

21st Oct 2018 Played Salgados, Morgardo and Alamos and this was our prefered course for the layout that means apart from holes 14, 15, 16, and 17 you are isolated from other golfers. Suggest buggies as some fair distances green to tees and especially 18th...More

Good society course with the holes in front of you that is not really long off the yellows. Water dotted around and different elevations. Good clubhouse and nice staff. Good day.

Played here twice recently and did not see any green staff. Some of the bunkers had grass growing under the lip which stopped the ball rolling into the bunkers. The bunkers were obviously not raked each day they were like concrete. It could be a...More

Played this and Morgado on consecutive days. On both days there were no buggys available. Both these courses are designed for buggys, with several walks of 10 mins or so between green and tee, often up substantial inclines. A comment about this to the caddymaster...More

Again, similar to Morgado..Featureless course, Wouldn't play it again..Much better options for money.Surrounding views like a derelict construction site..It's a no from me.

We had booked to play Morgado, which I’ve played before and enjoy, but chose to change due to greens maintenance having just started. Alamos is the poor relation. Whilst it is forgiving, this means that it is a bit featureless. The greens were ok and...More

This was booked for 8 golfers and all were not disappointed, the course was in great shape given the weather that has lingered over the Algarve for a while, the greens were true and quick. Having played Morgado a couple of days before, we all...More
