Didn't know what to expect but this fortress is really interesting. We stayed for about two hours, visiting a few buildings and the surroundings. Also some art sculpture and panels with information about the fortress, birds and plants. Great view of the ocean.

Group of 10 travelled over to Sagres from Lagos to see the Fort and the views. Everyone had a really good time. It's a nice walk from the fortress entrance over to the Atlantic look out points (lots of fisherman out that day!). Beautiful views....More
