The cross must have been very impressive at one time; weathering has dulled any sharp detail. Little has been done to promote its location or significance. It could be better appreciated if displayed within a museum setting.

Just at the outskirts of the city on the north side the stone cross is easy to miss. It is covered in a wooden canopy. Not particularly impressive unless you are interested in its history.
