This beautiful old marina offers everything you would exspect to find there and more! Captains of ships from long ago use to paint murals for safe voyages and still today this ever changing landscape carries on the tradition!

The marina probably isn't worth visiting alone, but if you're in Horta a stroll along the front past all the murals painted by crews from boats stopping in the Azores on round the world trips are interesting to see as is the old fort, although...More

Arrived tired and hungry. Marina staff quickly checked my yacht in. Very courteous and efficient. The staff had good suggestions for food and beer. The Marina is very safe. Beautiful paintings on the concrete sections. Peter's Cafe Sport looks over where I was penned.

The harbour is a collection of seafarers voyages to Horta, the images telling thousands of stories. Some of the paintings border on the epic. All tell a little story. Wonderful to walk around and grab a beer at the harbour cafe after.

One of the great marinas in the world for sailors wanting a break on the long Atlantic crossing. Drawings on the marina flagstones show boats over many years

Walk and just enjoy all the nice paintings on the wall and the floor. Talk to some skippers to listen to their stories.
