Beautiful Views

A walk along the sea wall of São Rogue brought us to this beautiful site. There is a walkway out onto the lava rocks across from the rock formation and a set of stairs down to the sea. During low tide you can walk on the black sand of the sea floor and look for pieces of shells.

It is a natural rock formation on the water, seen from a viewpoint nearby. More enjoyable on a sunny day.

Islet near the urban center of Ponta Delgada

Islet located immediately to the E of the urban area of Ponta Delgada (it is not accessible on foot) from which there are good views both along the coast and from a nearby viewpoint.
