287 reviews
Eastern São Miguel boasts unique landscapes and attractions, but ticking them all off can be difficult. Travel with ease to these remote locations on a full-day tour from Ponta Delgada. Visit Nossa Senhora da Paz, Furnas Lake, Vila Franca do Campo, Pico do Ferro viewpoint, and Ribeira dos Caldeirões. Enjoy a “cozido” lunch and relax at natural wonders with a small group. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included.

Parque Atlantico is the only Mall on the island that we met on the way. And the coincidence, when we were returning from Sete cidades on a bus and left early. This is an ordinary shopping center with branded stores (approximately the same brands). The only thing that caught our attention was a huge sperm whale hanging by its tail and a supermarket with an excellent selection of products. The supermarket is open until 22 hours, which is a rarity in San Miguel.

A relatively small shopping mall with some nice shops, a decent food court, a supermarket, cinema, and free parking. It's a rainy day visit when you don't want to go for a hike. If we'd had loads of room in the suitcase we might have bought some things but as most travellers will attest, you're a bit limited when shopping abroad!

Like many others, we went to the mall because it was raining. There's a free underground parking garage or you can walk from the city center. There were several stores here that we don't have near us (Kiko Milan is one of my favorites). There's also a huge supermarket that's more like a Super Walmart. Plenty of food choices in the food court, beyond just fast food. If you have time, visit the Antonio Borges botanical garden across the street. It's great!

Good to see how malls are in other countries. This one has many stores as well as a large grocery store and movie theaters.

We ended up at this mall after a rather disappointing walk around the center of Ponta Delgado. The mall itself is reasonable and seems to serve the needs of the locals. There is ample underground parking available. However, there is no reason that tourists should go out of their way to visit this mall. It is a mall like any other mall in Europe.
