Take a nice stroll through the gardens-walk up to the obelisk for good vistas. Stop in the great restaurant for a healthy, tasty meal. Then walk next door to the museum! Often attractions close from 12-3, so that is a good time to explore the...More

It's a lovely garden, not expansive by any means, but pretty (even in not-blooming season) and a nice place to people watch, rest, feed the birds, etc. Walk to the top monument located where the first fort in the 1400's was located-views are amazing.

It is a pleasure to walk through this park, especially if you take the stairs at the far end of it and if climb all the way up ! You'll have an exquisite view on the city !!

This quiet garden with its lovely old bandstand was just what was needed after an enclosed coach trip from Praia da Vitoria.

Angra is not a chaotic town, but looking for a more quite place to rest is always a good idea. This is a multilevel garden still in expansion (there are a lot of newer works in progress to enlarge it). Going up to the obelisk...More

The perfect, peaceful spot in the center of Angra. Gorgeously landscaped and centrally located, it's an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the lush beauty of Terceira and learn more about it's history. Do not miss the wonderful lunch at Casa do Jardim!
