This Museum is small but incredible. I have seen many churches and cathedrals in my travels but this chapel is the most ornate I have ever seen. It is breathtaking and a must see for anyone who visits Aveiro. The rooms leading to the chapel...More

At a loose end in Aveiro and with time to kill went to the museum. Well worth a visit, especially to see the interior of the chapel. Astonishing gold leaf finish.

The museum is fantastic. Especially the Christ who has two facial expressions on one side. Looking to the right he smiles. On the left he is sad. I recommend.
