At a loose end in Aveiro and with time to kill went to the museum. Well worth a visit, especially to see the interior of the chapel. Astonishing gold leaf finish.

The museum is fantastic. Especially the Christ who has two facial expressions on one side. Looking to the right he smiles. On the left he is sad. I recommend.

Not well known but you must not miss this one. One of the prettiest museums ever. Gorgeous chapel. Superb art displays.

Even though everything is religious, it is interesting and it is worth giving it a try. For students it is free entrance! I visited the museum before noon on a Saturday and it was almost empty. 👍🏻
