Not a lot to look at, but it is well rated. We did not go into any of the buildings, but drove through the campus. Mostly modern buildings spread out.
We made a detour to visit the library of Alvaro Siza. However, it was Sunday and could not visit the interior but the trip was worthwhile. The architecture is distinguished and vintage Siza. Beautiful proportions, elegant entrance and well thought out construction and details.…
This is a new modern university and the most progressive in Portugal. The campus is nice and is walking distances from downtown.
This university has an amazing campus. It is well-situated: close to the center of the city, but with green spaces and open spaces.
It's not something to miss if you're visiting Aveiro! A walk around the campus on a sunny day might take around 30 minutes to check all the buildings around the rectorate.
