One of Portuguese greatest painters, do not miss this when in Viseu; here you can have a glimpse of some fascinating works and also "travel" to an era with paintings depicting old situations and places.

A lovely museum with some wonderful works of art tastefully displayed. There are commentaries in English on the major works which added to our understanding of Grao Vasco's importance.

Visiting this museum is one of the best things to do in Viseu I guess. It offers a nice exhibition on religious art.

This museum is surely worth a visit. The work of Grao Vasco is stunning. There is also much more to see here. It gave me a new appreciation of Portuguese Renaissance art.
