The fishing village of Cascais ( cash Ki ish) is very pretty. It has many expensive homes that are beautiful and the gardens are well kept as well. The coast line is windy but beautiful.

Good variety of fresh fish and fruit available. Also flowers. When in Cascais, it is a good place to visit. There are great restaurants in the vicinity of the market.

Without fail I visit here every year. The variety of fish on display is amazing and watching the skill of the fish wives gutting and filleting the fish is a show in itself. Love to go early when the greater choice and display on show.

The market takes place each Wednesday and Saturday. It's a proper working market, heaving with locals as well. Fishmonger, veg and fruit stalls, meat, cheese, pastry, bistros... Wonderful fresh local produce sold for reasonable prices. Bring a large bag to carry all the yummy stuff...More

A huge selection of the fresh seafood on Saturday, also fresh fruits and vegetables, and all of this for a good price! Better to go there in the morning.
