It's not a big place, but has a lot of small interesting items, as well as historical appeal. We liked the cloister, the library which was obviously well used, the old photographs, and the arms room in the turret at the top of the stairs. Very gentle.
We walked past this building to and from an amazing sunset at Boca do Inferno and although the sunset blew us away, this building stood out for me and I wish I would have been able to visit it, it looks right up my street!
Must go and see this architectural museum gem in Cascais bout by an O’Neill descendant with shamrocks on the ceiling Great to wander around the cloister and then the rooms, set within the park another are to just wander within
It was very good to see how a count and countess lived. To go up to the first floor we had to go up a long spiral stairs, hard work 😃
