Lots of activities including beach volley nets. Decent sized beach with lots of room. Near lots of restaurants. You can take a stroll and sit and watch the beach goers or the small little boats docked.

This is a nice beach, good for relaxing in the sun, but at least in september the water is very cold.

The beach is very big and there is a very nice bar with outdoor where you can enjoy after a long section of surf or tanning. Just on the side of the bar there is the bus stop which takes 15min to reach the town

A small wonderful little beach - not the most stunning beautiful beach but it was convenient for us because it was near our apartment, near Pauls to buy lunch, near town-center. It has a wall where you can choose to stay in the shadow if...More

Lovely little beach curled round the shore in the shape of a croissant. The views across the water back to downtown Lisbon are lovely and all the better for the fleet of fishing boats that bob about just out to sea. The bay is sheltered...More

A glorious little bay at the centre of Cascais. Sandy beach, safe swimming, beach volleyball, a nice place to watch people go by especially from its many bars and restaurants. Lisbon's Cais do Sodre station to Cascais is a lovely train ride well worth the...More

We were here on a relatively cool Saturday, and even so the beach was quite crowded. I imagine it's shoulder to shoulder on a warm weekend day. The sand is incredibly soft; the water is clear, but no-one seems to swim here. Lots of thongs....More

Absolutely worth seeing. It is a real beach in the city center! Small but unique. Great view on the port and the city and the ocean!. Restaurants two steps away. Very clean. Nice. Fantastic.

Had a terrific swim here right in the center of town. You have backdrops of 17th century arsenals (now a fancy hotel) and other historic buildings. There don't seem to be any places to change, so use the public bathrooms in the park back up...More
