A very nice beach to escape to and very close to Lisbon. Easy to get to with bus transfer from Lisbon.

A place I go to heal, the smell, the sounds, but must go early in the morning because lots of people visit it.

It's a beach like many others. Pretty small and extremely far away, but a lot of fun if you go with a group of loved ones. One of my favourite days spent in Lisbon.

The beach is a short walk from the train station but in the center of town which is convenient. Even though as with most beaches near train stations it is crowded this one was not too bad. Found a spot around 11 and hung out for a number of hours - kids played, built sandcastles and caught sand crabs. Perfect... More

If you're looking for a beach to spend the day, then go further from Cascais, like Guincho. This beach is too small. If I were to make a guess I'd say it's smaller than half a football field. When we were there it was very crowded too. However, if you're in town and would like to have an icecream on... More

This beach is very convenient when staying in the centre of Cascais and you are lazy to go elsewhere. It's very small and it can get overcrowded. The water is not particularly clean or clear - the local fishing boats are moored very near the beach.

This was our local beach as it was just across the road from our hotel. We found no problem finding a spot lay down our beach towels and relax. The sand was fine, the sea was very cold but refreshing, refreshments were available just at the beach's entrance. The town centre is just a few minutes' walk away, too. We... More

It is just off Cascais downtown. The beach is small but very nicely maintained. Since it is so near down town, the place is popular with the tourists.

Went here for a day trip after a long week of seeing the sights in Lisbon. This town is the last stop on the train system and can be easily reached in 30 minutes from Cais do Sodre main station. Be aware that the train does not stop at each stop along the way except for weekends. One way will... More
