From our room we looked directly at Praia Cresmina. Magnificent, so we could see the sun rising over the stand early in the morning... In three minutes you were "at" or "in" the water and could enjoy the Atlantic from close up! One of the most beautiful beaches we visited and a little quieter than the Grande Praia do Guincho on the other side of the hotel. The power of the Atlantic and nature is very beautiful to watch along the whole coast of Portugal. But if you wade barefoot in the clear water here, it is especially beautiful...

Beautiful, quiet beach. Usually windy but in July it was welcoming. Make sure to bring umbrella to help block the wind. If staying in Cascais recommend renting bikes in Casa de guia and riding the trail it's beautiful costal view and only takes 20 - 25 minutes . Bikes are free bring I.D.

This unique beach, just next to the famous guincho beach is sheltered from the north wind that usually comes in the afternoon.

Lovely beaches in Cascais however as was suggested to me from another review get off the train at Estoril which has a gorgeous beach and walk along the promenade to Cascais. Takes about 20 minutes with great views and beautiful seafood resturants!

Very beautiful beach, but very windy the day that I was there in July. I would imagine there are days that it is not so windy, but the water is very cold! I am used to the warm waters in the US side of the Atlantic. But regardless, it was a great day for sunning and relaxing. This is a beautiful area where the road runs along the coast and there is a sidewalk and bike lane all along. Restaurants and hotels along the beach and coastal drive

Just off the road that links Cascais to the Guincho. The setting is amazing and the sea although wild and strong as you would expect of the Atlantic is clean and inviting!!
Great small cafe for a refreshing drink!

This is "the place"!
This is the best beach in Cascais.
Amazing crowd, it's a watched beach during summer time and the staff is great.
For an amazing drink all day you must go to "Bar Das Ilhas", the owner is one of the most amazing person you will meet.
Here is where you can have some fun and great drinks all day and specially at sunset.
The bar is not open at winter time, but even then the beach totally deserves your attention.
