An interesting collection of lighthouse memorabilia well presented and labelled in carefully lit and atmospheric rooms. Regretfully the lighthouse itself is only open for limited times.

Very interesting exhibits and outstanding view of the Cascais harbour. Learn and see what makes a lighthouse work. If lucky, you can go up in the lighthouse. Hours albeit are limited

Cascais is a delightful little town but some parts has become very commercialised.....think Irish Pubs, English breakfasts etc. The walk up to Lighthouse and around the marina provides a welcome break to this and offers come wonderful views back around the bay. The lighthouse and...More

only 1.5 euro to go in so don't expect too much. Good views from the courtyard looking back at Cascais.

There're a lot of lighthouses -amazing, which you can find in Lisboa . Especcialy: alone on the island (you can see it from continent) Very nice!

We travelled to Cascais and decided to explore down by the marina. We went to the lighthouse, free entry without the museum trip, if you prefer. It was an easy enough climb up and well worth it. Lovely views across the whole area

After visiting the Casa de Santa Maria, we walked to the Santa Maria Lighthouse Museum. The museum has many interesting items and information related to lighthouses and their importance for the coast of Portugal. Of course much information on lighthouse technology through the years.
