This small, well-designed museum features two to four special, temporary exhibits. When I was last there in December, 2017 they had a impressive exhibit of more than 100 photos by Herb Ritts. It is definitely worth checking on the current exhibits when you are visiting

We passed this site daily and finally went in. It is a FREE exhibit on the history of Cascais going back before the Romans. We should have stopped in when we first visited Cascais.

We popped in here on the last day of our holiday and only paid €3 to see an amazing photography exhibition of Nicolas Muller's work amongst other things. The staff were very friendly and they also have a beautiful atrium area with cafe/restaurant.
