Interesting natural sight

Unique natural sight well worth a look . A place where the sea crashes through the rocks hence the name. Good to photograph.

The Boca do Inferno is conveniently located near Cascais on a very scenic stretch of coast. We went to see it when the sea was calm and it was not as spectacular as expected. Went back the following day as the sea was rougher and it was shut!

We enjoyed walking the coastal track from Cascais to Boca do Inferno, yet I was shocked to see so much plastic, waste and other junk thrown in nature which then ends up in the sea. We started to take the coastal walking track. Bad idea. seems to be an open toilet with a number of used condom... stay on the... More

An easy walk from Cascais harbor along a beautiful coastal path brings you to this amazing spot where the wild Atlantic displays its power along the rocky cliffs. Worth the trip!

Good place to walk to to watch the waves crashing onto eroded caves. Some interesting rock pools down the bottom too with little fish and starfish. Worth the short walk but you don't need to stay long...

Nice landscape. Best to visit at tide, so you can hear the noise coming from the water splashing into the rocks. Accessible by bus or a 15 minute walk from the train station.

We stopped here to see "Hell's Mouth" and it was what we expected. From the land side you can see a small enclosed area of sea surrounded by small cliffs, and from the sea, after an easy walk along paths, you get a view of the entrance - a natural archway through which the sea pours. If you're passing this... More

This is kind of a tourist trap. I was not impressed at the historic value of the location but the view from the area was very nice.
