Comur (founded in 1942 during WWII) is a company that sells Sardines in cute little tins. You can get one for just about any year and if you don't mind forking over a fair amount of cash for a tiny little tin, it would make a great souvenir. It is a colorful and fun store near one of the funiculars. We visited it while on our Segway tour. It was one of the places we stopped and went in to see. This place has certainly made the humble fish trendy. What drew us into the shop was the vibrant colours. They had all sorts of tinned fish on sale from sardines to octopus. The only draw back was the price but they do make unusual gifts for family and friends.

This store is an amazing combination of a museum, art gallery and gourmet food shop. The tinned fish packaging is gorgeous and the sampling was fun. The fish is very good but it is very expensive. Reviews at home were mixed on the fish.

Wide selection of canned fish, nicely decorated shop. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, offering samples and suggestions. Not the cheapest though.

This tinned fish shop was the highlight of our day. The staff was very friendly and very informative of their offerings and the whole set-up is stunning. My teen son was super impressed that the sardines packed simply in olive oil could be better than the ones slathered in tomato sauce!…
