Belem's other attractions were rammed yet this Palace was empty it is a bit farther to either walk or bus but by far the best thing to see. No queuing peak season and yet the whole time only saw half a dozen other visitors. Plenty...More

Not far from Jeronimos, Torre de Belèm or "Pasteis de Belém" this former king's residence is now a museum. Worth a visit

Finally the one spot in Belem where there weren't huge lines. That's mostly due to the fact that it's a bit far from the other sites in town. Take the opportunity to soak in the beauty of the palace with all the exquisite furniture and...More

You REALLY should'n miss this in Lisbon. We spent almost 3 hours in Palace, it is so amazing place. Every room is so fascinating, so will be overwhelmed, trust me. The staff there are so friendly, they like to explain everything.

Not touristy area , almost a ghost town and everybody is away to see Belem and pile a long line to try their Egg tart but this place is a must to visit, a beautiful presentation of history and life of a man who once...More

For us this was one of the highlights of our trip from Lisbon out to Belem. We made the walk up the hill (yes still hilly even outside Lisbon centre), after about a twenty minutes walk we arrived at the Jardim Botanico opposite the Ajuda...More
