We tend to avoid touristy shops and there are a lot selling sardines in the centre of Lisbon. We happened on the relatively new outlet for this old ‘institution’ straight after breakfast in the Santa Catarina area. Not at all the typical pushy tourist trap,...More

This tiny shop is packed full of sardine products. I never knew that there were so many variations on tinned sardines, so I stocked up with things you can't buy at home. There is an old fashioned till on display too.

You must go there! It is like a boutique for sardine cans! Strange? Go there and check by yourself. Very, very nice business and concept! Congratulations!

The store is quirky and has various tinned fishes. However the staff were unfriendly ad rude and that spoiled my mood a bit. Wish I had gone somewhere else.

The most horrible service experience I've had, ruined my whole day. There are plenty of shops like this that sells canned fish, I'd recommend you to go anywhere else but here

Very unpleasant staff, completely overwhelmed by the influx of tourists. To avoid, don’t loose your time
