Beautiful bridge across the Tejo estuary. A lot longer and but almost half the height of the 25 de Abril bridge. About 18 km long with 6 lanes. A true marvel of engineering!!

This bridge was the longest bridge in Europe until the Crimean Bridge opened in 2018. However, after looking at both the pictures, I personally think that this bridge is way more beautiful to look at. We drove across this bridge on our drive to Evora....More

W couldn´t resist driving there. And it was so worthy. We take the oportunity to visit the Freeport Outlets. Actually the trip was a lot better than the destination.

This is the longest bridge in Europe and it is an impressive sight to see as it stretches its full length across the Tejo

I had in fact cycled over one day very leisurely from the two landmarks bridges of Lisbon and I had been quite impressed with the length of this one ...it really looks like it in fact it does not end.

An impressive bridge, once the longest in Europe. It seems to stretch as far as the eye can see! A worthwhile walk along the river.

One of Europe's indeed, given its extraordinary dimensions - a mighty engineering achievement. Disappears into the distance, but makes for great photos.

During sunrise and sunset one of the best places for good pictures (from Vasco d Gama Center or Expo area). When u drive in sunrise hour from Lisbon to the other side of the river .. a great moment.

When you turn in your car inform the rental company of your mishap and they will solve it and charge you for it. If you don't do that you will have trouble in many places in Europe
