Best point of the city with a great view

I loved this point of the city! It was included on the tour I made by tuk tuk. This Miradouro is lovely and with a huge view from the beautiful city of Lisbon.

To get here you either take the stairs that look like they never are going to end, or walk up hill forever. Either way, when you are at the top, the views of Lisbon will make you forget that previous workout.

It's high up, but the climb is not too bad and well worth it for the fantastic view of the city. Once up there, don't miss the church next to it which has a very ordinary exterior, but it's such a serene place of worship inside.

be prepared to climb a million steps in order to see the city view, nothing spectacular at daytime though. Better visit in the evening

A less known miradouro with beautiful views over Lisboa (from the opposite side than the castle), nice little church with a secret (the stone chair !)

from this point it gave a good view of Lisboa. A quaint chapel is there, a few benches, good shade from the trees around, best if there were cafe shops for frappe on a summer day or warm cocoa or coffee during the colder season. Overall also a good place to view the sunset.

It's worth the climb of 93 stairs. You can reach there by tuktuk also. Very scenic. I could see people choosing the most suitable place, setting up their camera tripod and waiting for the sunset well in advance. It's sure to give you few breathtaking photographs. You can relax there and enjoy a beer while enjoying the view of the... More

This place has the most amazing views of Lisbon. It's really a must-do when visiting. Be warned- you will need to take some time to click lots of pictures!

Yes, it is quite an effort to walk up to the miradoro. Completely worth it! Grab a bottle of water and go for it! Better just before the sunset.

Staying in Graca & Sao Vicente

Neighbourhood Profile
Graca & Sao Vicente
You can be thankful that most common travel guides don't mention Graça and São Vicente that often. Part of Lisbon's historic center and "Old Town", they feel like independent villages in the capital's center, and more untouched than Alfama. Amazing views, restaurants and parks, as well as important monuments like the S. Vicente Church and the National Pantheon, make this a spectacular option for those looking for a more tranquil walk-around in the center of Lisbon. Graça has been the choice of many younger people over the past years, both nationals and expats, given the cozy feeling of the neighborhood and its hidden secrets.
