Nice fashion museum in the city centre of Lisbon, not the biggest collection, but it was just enough for me, great thematic music too! I recommend.

The MUDE was just a few blocks from our Airbnb apartment on Rua Augusta. My daughter, who is a fashion designer, found the museum for us. The collection is not very large. It was interesting and took about a hour to look through.

The museum is showing a small collection in a building off the Praca do Comercio, I would really love to see the wider collection when the main building is open again.

Very inspiring but would have hoped to have seen a larger collection. Recently re-housed and down-sized I think. A bit disappointed photography not allowed - make sure to take a notebook and pen!

As a fashion management graduate, I was hugely disappointed to see that the exhibit on haute couture dresses was not there, as advertised. My friend (being a designer-maker) and I, strolled around Lisbon 4 times following the directions on the street posters and Google maps, after finding that the original building had shut. Eventually someone from the tourist office showed us where to go, and what we saw was laughable. The remaining museum is tiny and is full of seating that you cannot sit on... We spent all of 5 minutes in there before leaving. The only positive was that at least the place was air conditioned.…
