This is a nicely decorated little landing that has a great view over Alfama to the river. You can see the red tile roofs and the active shipping commerce on the river. Really a nice place to take some pictures.

Ok, nice sight, but there are better ones in Lisbon. You have to climb to get there, and the place is quite small, so you have to struggle to get a place for taking photos. To visit only if you don’t have anything better to...More

This is one of the best locations in Alfama district which offers great views of River Tejo and Lisbon. Beautiful azulejo tiles in the church and patios nearby. Very popular with tourists. Crowded but still pleasant. You can take the very popular Tram no. 28...More

This viewpoint offers an interesting and nice view over the Alfama to the river, where sometimes big cruiseships can be seen. There's a fountain that looks more like a pool and there are banks, a café, toilets, and Azulejos - the famous, historic tiles. Definitely...More

I preferred this viewpoint over Portas do Sol because I liked the view better and it was much less crowded. There's a little coffee/pastry stand and some cafe tables that you can sit at and enjoy the view.

One of the nicest viewpoint, is small so not as crowded as other areas (no coach stops) Was part of a segway tour.

Great view at Sunset with Street Musicians. Mix of 20-30 year olds but fun for all ages. Nice place to have a beer and watch the sunset. No seating really.

The view from here is absolutely beautiful. You can see the city of Lisbon and the coast line across the Tagus River. It does get a bit crowded - get there a bit before sunset so you can enjoy the stunning view.
