LISBON ZOO – GO AROUND THE WORLD IN JUST ONE DAY At Lisbon Zoo, we invite you to travel around the world without leaving Lisbon. Find the Sumatran Tigers in the dense vegetation of the Rainforest, observe lions, giraffes and elephants behaviour at the dry African Savannah and dazzle with the majestic flight of the colourful birds of South America. Our mission is to develop and promote a zoological and botanical park, as a centre of conservation, reproduction and reintroduction of endangered species, through scientific investigation and environmental enrichment programs. Along with education is a strong entertainment component that will ensure a great family time, always with the conviction that when visiting Lisbon Zoo you’re contributing to this great project of conservations of endangered species and their habitats.

A very lovely Zoo, animals seem happy and appears to have a lot of room for each in their enclosures. Nicely planned out and a great day for all. Would definitely recommend.

Zoo is situated inside the park and there is easy and quick access from the Metro. Wrists are "stamped" to allow re-entry. It is probably best to make your way to the top of the zoo and work back towards the lower end. Zoo has...More

The Lisbon Zoo is very nice, it has a dolphin show which is amazing and the animals are kept in good conditions (for a zoo). You also have feeding times and shows for specific animals.

We really liked the monkeys, as well as riding the cable car (though be aware that you've got to move quickly to get on and off the thing!).

The Zoo isn't advertised much in Lisbon. In fact, we've ended up going there by a coincidence. And it was a good coincidence! Comparing to some of the zoos we've seen in Europe, it's really nice. On a sunny day, it gets a bit too...More

The metro goes right to the zoo. Walk across the street from the station and there it is.
