First of all, it is more like a classical concert hall, difficult to get the amplified sound of heavy rock tones to each single place w/o quality impact. But the place is very charming. Anyway, the atmosphere was brilliant! Due to the small stage the audience is very close to the artists. Entering as well as leaving the place was... More

Went here to see Biffy Clyro. Was really impressed with the venue, laid back but helpful staff and good atmosphere. Would definitely like to come to the venue again and looks like they have some good acts coming up!!

I went there yesterday to watch a Brazilian singer, Zeca Pagodinho show. That was good. Me and my wife danced all night long. The place is reasonable. The drinks are not so expensive. But don't expect a great quality level in terms of sound around the place

Whatever kind of show you like. The Coliseu is the Portuguese place to see a concert or an event. Yes, it's kind of old, but it has everything to keep that show in your mind for a long time. Apart from a Portuguese band that i love, I saw here Gotan Project and it was amazing.

Old but renewed theatre with lot's of music shows. For me the best acoustic place to ear music shows, Try the front boxes and get just in time. No need to rush and get smashed with lot's of people

Saw the Nutcracker ballet in December and unfortunately found the atmosphere of the theater to be very cold and the ushers nearly unprofessional. The presentation was late, we actually had to wait outside for a while. The venue was actually cold, I don't think there was a heater working. Lots of potential and room to improve.

We recently went to see a concert at the Coliseu de Lisboa. The concert was top quality: Kharkov orchestra and choir presented Beethoven's Ninth (shades of Alan Burgess) and Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, this last one with excellent soloists. The place was half empty: someone did a c*** job of promoting the thing: so we got to sit in the... More

A beautiful and old concert hall. Go there and pick a show that you would like to see and you can also enjoy the great atmosphere and decoration of the place.

We decided to visit this terrific concert hall during compilation of our program for Lisbon. To our delight there was a Suede Bloodspots 2013 Tour gig scheduled for our period. The building itself is very unusual The exterior facade looks like a town hall but after passing the huge entrance and grand staircase you see a rather bizarre combination of... More
