A beautiful view over a beach and the millitary base which is on a headland pretty amazing sight. Well worth going for a walk and finding.

We visited Lisbon with our two boys in August but needed to escape the heatwave so headed for the coast. The children had not experienced diving boards in the Uk (where have they all gone?) so we headed to this lovely lido by the sea. It isn't well signposted from the train station (Santo Amaro) but if you head right... More

With a small children's pool and plenty of sunloungers this is a great family place to spend a morning or the end of an afternoon. Personally I would not stay the whole day with small children (went with two pre-schoolers) as it gets very warm and the pool could benefit from more shaded areas. The bar only serves burgers and... Great location near a pier and white sandy beach with the odd shop and a few restaurants nearby. The pool attendants were really polite and helpful on entrance, when I asked for an umbrella and on buying an ice cream. When I asked for an umbrella it was carried over and set up for me. The pool contained salt water... More

While driving from Lisbon to Cascais, we found this part of the beach. Next to it there is some Fort and there are many surfers in this beach. See pictures.

Great infrastructures with sea as view. Terrible rules for family with teenagers... unless you want to pay and eat from pool restaurant (you can only take water inside). Sun blocker is NOT allowed..... Really.... bad rules all and all....

My friends and i recently visited Lisbon and we are all a fan of outdoor pool days to swim and soak up the sun but unfortunately this is what Lisbon lacks unless you are in a hotel with an outdoor pool. I went on-line and found this place on Tripadvisor and then followed up with the actual website to make... More

This could be a great place to go and enjoy a sea water pool with good infrastructures and great view over the sea coast. However, it seems like it us a pool to support and maintain a restaurant and parking company. Want to go with your chlidren? Just forget it. Or you have lots of money to buy food at... More
