Best for natural swimmer and surfing also some good restaurant next to the beach. Quite easy to go from Lisbon cost around 3.50 euro each way.

Endless Sandy beaches, must see while you visiting Lisbon. Also, you can take surf lessons there for 10-15€ per person (2hours). There are no sharks so there ia no need to be afraid.

Very nice, long beach. Nice yellow sand and the sun is great. The water is cold as is to be expected as it's the Atlantic Ocean. Lovely day out.

We rented a car something I recommend if possible. Parking space is right by the beach kilometres of beach. Nice clean sand and water. It's the Atlantic ocean so expect the water to be quite a bit colder then the Mediterranean I jumped in it...More

By car is about 20 min depending on traffic, especially on the bridge over tagus. There are other beaches on the north side between lisbon and Cascais. If you're not drivig a car these beaches are easier to reach by train... More
