Time Out Market is OK for amateurs. This very pretentious food hall is for young people who have not been around very long. Everything is priced way too high for Lisbon standards and even for New York City standards! I would not mind the prices...More

A wide range of food and drink stalls allows you to choose your own beers, wines and various foods. We went a couple of times and had great food but also got a chance to sample local wines, with advice, and drink good coffee. Seating...More

Not a bad spot but very touristy. Still cool to check out nonetheless, though the only thing worth eating here is probably the pastel de nata (custard tarts) from Manteigaria.

Tourists beware. Lots of wonderful goodies, but priced completely out of line for this city. Better, more authentic meals are available a block or two away for half the price.

Everything is so overpriced there, it is kinda similar to Florence market. I ordered a dish of patanishcas with feijoada which was tasty but very overpriced. There are way better small restaurants in Alfama area for example. It is for sure a tourist trap. The...More

We were told to visit and were not disappointed. The fresh vegetable & fruit market next door was interesting to visit also. There were stalls selling food of every description, some with curiosity value. We didn’t eat there as we had too much breakfast, but...More

Very fast. Hard problem is finding a seat. It’s like a huge canteen and you queue up to the stalls. You pay and then get Given a buzzer block when your food is ready. Enjoy.

No dogs are not allowed, we had one and had to sit on the outside periphere of the restraunts. Lots of restaurants don’t allow dogs so take a dog carry bag if yours fits in one.

We were there last Thursday afternoon and it was very crowded, but there weren't a lot of kids--perhaps because the crowds might make it difficult to keep up with them. Also, the tight seating might make it difficult to find... More
