This was definitely the most difficult museum to find - take a taxi or know how to use your GPS really well - but it was definitely worth the effort. The collection is quite good - especially the men's clothing - and the lovely faded grandeur and glory of the palace is worth the trip! I wish we could have... More

The building is very beautiful what makes the exhibition more interesting. I was expecting more costumes. Staff very prestative. Gardens to the teathre museum are beautiful.

I was so surprised by how much I liked this museum! Because of the location, it is probably not going to be on the itinerary for a 1 or 2 day visit to Lisbon. But for repeat visitors, visitors spending a week here, or expats like me, I highly recommend making the trek to Lumiar to see this palace, garden,... More

A place where we can see an exhibition of several kinds of Costumes. Accessories and Costumes tells us the evolution along the centuries. It´s easy to understend that the Costume is a way to comunicate e expression. All this inside a small and beautifull palace. Outside is a nice big garden. I suggest to visit too a Museu Nacional do... More
