But we still wanted to give it a chance. Wish we had stayed at home. The tour guide had no interest in what he was doing whatsoever. We didn't hear most of what was going on because we couldn’t walk as quick as him. Our children who all play in football clubs back home were extremely disappointed. Spent a couple of hours visiting the stadium and museum, wow! The museum is packed with hundreds of trophies won by the sports club, in football, rugby, hockey, cycling and so many more sports! Also there is a floor with a lot of football memorabilia from past players, including a great section on Eusebio. Followed that with a tour of the stadium (for tickets buy either in the Benefica shop, or using the machines just outside the shop (which can offer a discount...) The shop is situated in the building by gate 17 (which is where the tour is run from). The stadium itself is great, got to see 1 of the 5 changing rooms (not the home one) press room, tunnel walk and views from different levels. All in all a well worth it trip. Stadium is not far from a Metro stop.…

It is worth visiting the best museum of the best club in Portugal. Well organized, very easy to be seen, an amazing story in the sport and life of the country and city. Impressive is strongly recommend your visit, not to be missed!

So, I'm not a big football fan but my partner is so we went on this tour and I have to say, it was brilliant. I wasn't bored once and the two hours flew by! You get to see everything you'd expect and more. Our guide was fantastic too, she was really helpful and knowledgable and accommodated for all languages. If travelling from Lisbon, simply jump on the underground and it was around 15-20 mins to get there from the centre.…
