This park is situated in a nice area of Lisbon. It's a quiet and beautiful green space in the city. On top you find the basilica. It's on the tram route to the cemetery of Prazeres.

Jardim da Estrela, also named Guerra Junqueiro Garden (later), started being built in 1842 and 10 years later was officially inaugurated. It has seen changes seen then. The garden has a great location and in a very romantic part of the city. It has cafés,...More

This is IMHO the best garden in Lisbon. It is very well cared, clean, located just in from of Estrela's Cathedral, which is one of the most magnificent churches in Lisbon. The garden offers something for everybody: nice places to entertain small children and toddlers,...More

Pretty park in the middle of a pleasant residential district, full of old fashioned features like lots of wooden benches, kids area, kiosques where one can buy a beverage and snack. Very popular.

For me, this park is a five star attraction in Lisbon. It is beautiful, well laid out, and a neighborhood park where you will see families and residents enjoying themselves. Yes, there is a cafe (although I did not try it.) See the Basilica, then...More

Much-used by locals for relaxing, socializing, and playing, this park is well maintained. On weekday mornings and afternoons you see the retired and the toddlers. Some sitting near the green library kiosk reading newspapers and books. Literally hundreds of mature treees - huge banyan, monkey...More

I came here one sunny morning with my 8 month old for a walk. Small park with a cosy coffee shop that served coffee and Pastels. I only came here because we were staying nearby. It’s right opposite the Estrela basilica.

We went here late in the evening for a relaxing stroll. Quiet park and safe after dark. Not a lot of people around but the cafe was still open. Has a pond and interesting flora and fauna. Not intended as a tourist attraction that is...More
