A friend recommended visiting LX factory so I went there on a rainy day. Apart from a few cute shops and obviously the bookshop with the bicycle (Les Devagar, which is a wonderful place) it is purely commercial and quite run down around the edges. Some interesting murals and a good place to hide from the rain. I ordered hot chocolate at a small café but left after 25 minutes since they were overwhelmed with two hands full of customers. public toilet was chained locked. I wouldn't recommend making your way here.

LX Factory is a nice contemporary slash hipster social spot. The repurposing of old industrial space into multiple restaurants, shops, bookstores etc is always cool to see what a little creativity and teamwork can do. Depending on what you’re looking for you can probably find it at LX. Nice date and hangout spot every once in a while.

On the 25th of December, we walked 1 hour in the rain from Baixa - just to find the gate to LX Factory closed. What to do? Walk back again, of course. We were soaked. Located in the shadow of a massive concrete highway bridge LX Factory seems picturesque the industrial way that modern artists adore. By the way, you don’t have to walk all the way. We saw tram 15E passing by.

Stopped by after an already busy day, I wish I had more time. I will definitely go back to do some more shopping. Lots of cute stores and fun restaurants. We had a bite to eat at one of the restaurants Pura, it was ok. I’ll definitely do some research to find a better place to eat next time and perhaps a map of stores so I don’t miss anything.

This lively and trendy spot is home to Lisbon's best bookstore, Ler Devagar, and abounds with restaurants and boho shops. It's still very much a work in progress, with plenty of unoccupied space; graffiti reaches a high level on the old warehouse walls, though not everything can exactly be considered "street art." A bit more variety in both merchandise and cuisine are definitely called for, but as a social magnet it pulses with life, especially after the sun goes down.

While on a tuk tuk Eco Electric Day tour of Lisbon we mentioned to our tour guide that we had a free day on Sunday with nothing planned. We asked him what he’d recommend! Thank goodness we asked as this was truly an incredible day, such a fun place full of artisan shops, unique shops, great restaurants .. such a fun vibe too! LX Factory is open all week but only on Sundays do they have this added open market with different booths and vendors. Some very unique ideas, ceramics, jewelry , artwork and tshirts not typical of the souvenir shirts that you will find everywhere. The Sunday market opens at 10am and it’s best to be there just before it opens, before it may get crowded! It’s such a great time! Highly recommend visiting. So happy we didn’t miss it!

Brilliant place, full of quirky shops and cafés. I was lucky enough to pick up a lovely vintage cape, my fiance was thrilled to get some vinyl in the bookshop that he's been looking for. It is quite hard to find from the train station and the underpass is a little 'interesting' but the place is worth the effort to get there.

My husband and I stopped by LX Factory a couple of hours before a dinner reservation. It was worth a stop since we were in the area. There were many interesting looking eateries and shops, but bc it was a little late in the day, we missed out on a lot of shops. I don’t know that we would have found it as worthwhile if we went to the area just to visit.

We went to LX Factory last Sunday. There was a market with lots of stalls food, handmade items etc was really nice and lots of restaurant choices too. I would recommend going if your nearby on a sunday

Fun place to visit for a few hours, music, good options for food, nice shops and stalls. Bookshop with old printing press inside quirky. Toilets leave a bit to be desired (and too few of them) but very glad we took the time to visit.
