Beautiful Moorish style building transformed shopping mall from alternative stores. Has restaurant (better make reservation) and bar. It is close to Chiado , botanical garden .... Shops are not so interesting but building both outside and inside are very nice.

What an astonishing visual delight, well worth dropping by to check it out. As a bonus I loved the exhibition in the upper gallery by Helena de Medeiros.

A great old building being put to better uses. The centre has a cafe area and each room has an independent retailer. If you can’t find anything of interest you can admire the building or have a drink at Gin Lovers.

This is a truly remarkable building that has been saved and now houses some exquisite Portuguese brands all housed in free flowing linked rooms off the magnificent central staircase. The murals are beautiful and the scope of the mansion remarkable. Worth a visit just to...More

This is an unique concept shopping mall. Small and compact within a old Arabian Palace. Stores carry Portuguese brands and designs. Good craftsmanship, but out of my price range. Since it is an old building, the ventilation probably is not adequate. The location of the...More

Embaixada is a beautiful concept store. The shops are nice and niche, but the building is worth the visit. You can walk from store to store and see the different shops while enjoying the place.

I spotted this place mostly for architecture than for shopping purpose and i was right. Shopping options are very few, but the building itself is marvelous. Very cool idea to give an old building a new life and by all means keeping authenticity.

For pubs and restaurants from noon until late, shops around noon until 1800. But do ask your hotel for more information. Enjoy!
