This plaza is centrally located in Chiado, one could say it is the heart of Chiado as everyone roaming the area will pass by here. A cozy and small plaza, surrounded by hotels, restaurants and shops at a very busy intersection. Good for orientation purposes in order not to get lost on Chiado.…

It is the most important square in Chiado, one of Lisbon's lively and historic areas, always alive. This small square is the transition zone between Chiado and Bairro Alto. In its center is a monumental statue of 16th-century epic poet Luis de Camoes standing on a pedestal with other smaller statues of classical Portuguese authors.One of the iconic places in Lisbon, vibrant day and night. Praça Luís de Camões is the heart of Chiado. From there you can walk to the main highlights. The square itself has several bars and restaurants and, during Christmas time, decorations and music.

Situated in downtown Lisbon, the square is surrounded by grand buildings and has some of the most impressive street tiles in a city that is famous for them. However, it's hard to appreciate these as the square is so busy and there's a constant flow of traffic on all 4 sides of the square. It's one of those places that you wish was pedestrianised so that you could fully appreciate its charms.…
