We found it interesting that there was an air museum here and we went in. But frankly you don't come to portugal to spend time for this, there is so much unique local things to see. I can imagine someone mechanically interested will love this place.

I very good collection of airplanes used by the Portuguese air force. The airplanes are in a very pristine preserved state, and some surprises like a spitfire with the Portuguese cross

This is a very nice air museum with some rare plains from the beginning of the 20th used by the Portuguese Air Force . Very well organized and a nice clean presentation. The access is very cheap

A bit far from Lisbon, not sure if you can reach it easily. Staff is very very friendly. Unfortunately there is very little English language around, so I couldn't understand many interesting things about Portugal aviation history, though it looks very interesting. Their collection is very nice, and definitiely should be checked out!

This aviation museum has a large collection of well restored aircraft. There are both civilian and military aircraft . There is also a part of the museum that is about TAP's history. The museum is operated by Air Force military personnel who help if you need information . An excellent aviation museum that is well worth a visit.

Very nice museum, managed by the Portuguese air force, that looks at the history of Portuguese civilian and military aviation. The main attraction is the collection of aircraft of different eras, mostly kept in indoor hangars. You can visit the flight deck or go inside some of the larger models. You also get to see items from the Portuguese airline... More

A small but nice museum, displays a good collection of aircraft that served with the Portuguese forces. offers the possibility to admire some types not available for viewing in North America.

I recently reviewed Quinta da Regaleira in Sintra and said it was the best 6 euros that you could spend. Well this is the best 3 euros you can spend. And, bearing in mind they are in the same area, if you have a car you could fill your day and do them both for under 10 euros! The only... More

I visited the museum on last April and I really enjoyed. There are 3 or 4 spaces of exhibition, one of them outside at an old landing strip, Planes, Helicopters and a lot of history. The staff were very helpful. I don't remember the cost to get in but I remember that is cheap.
