Visiting this beach was one of my favorite spots during my recent visit to Portugal. It's a pleasant drive west of Sintra, and the setting is spectacular. There's an archway coming down from the two rocky hills to the left, and apparently another small coved...More
Lovely sandy beach with spectacular views. Lots of shade by the cliffs. Easy parking right by the beach when it is quiet.

One of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal. The cold and upset sea will give you a boost of energy. Admire the sunset and after that go to the Adraga restaurant, ask for a grilled local fish and drink a portuguese white wine.
This place is not as known as its neighbour to the north, Praia Grande, but the place itself is perfect. The restaurant has prime quality seafood! Perfect for a dinner at sunset!
