Nice park to stroll through on the way into main town of Funchal. Tendered gardens and nice fountains. Fascinating to watch a woman strolling round in the afternoon feeding the birds, ducks and swans.

We always make time to walk through this free park. There are lovely flower beds and views over the harbour.

Beautiful gardens at a prime location. Shopping centre just across the street. The view of the mountains and the harbour are incredible! Love the children's area, and the small pond with a fountain and ducks and swans. Relaxing and fun!

Get off the bus on the hill and walk straight into the gardens. There is lots to see and again you can overiew the harbour nicely from here before descending into the town
