We had a mini tour around the lodge which was very interesting, this also included wine tasting at the end which was very nice. It's worth a visit if you like the famous Madeira wine.

Stopped here for brief visit during cruise ship tour. Pleasant enough wine but quite sweet, nice shop with lots of tourist 'stuff'.

A well stocked super shop, and museum that’s very interesting, and a loveytaster,of the local drink, but be careful,it’s 25% proof. As our driver said,”one drink is very nice” two or three an you’re in trouble” 😂

We went here as an addition to the tobogganing trip. Great winery and lovely wine. Lots to choose from and a great gift shop.
