Church where Renaldo used to go pointed out by cheerful humorous driver. Stay on the bus and visit Camara de Lobos, a fishing village with great character and characters.

We visited the Miiradoura with the hop-on hop-off bus. Very quiet here and you could take 100 pictures with al the different views you have here.

Pico dos Barcelos is a viewpoint looking out over Funchal and the sea. It's easy to get to by bus and on the west side of the city, above the hotel zone. There's a friendly café there and a short walk down the hill brings...More

Came here on the yellow hop on hop off bus but both operators stop here. We nearly did not get off as the viewpoint is not immediately obvious from the bus and it did not seem well advertised. We were the only ones who got...More
