I can see why this place is a definite must visit place in Braga. It’s not located in city center but it’s really worth the effort. I took uber taxi and it cost only 7 euros. There are buses (number 2?) from city center that...More

We visit the place after Easter. It was a lovely walk up to the church. Public transportation from Porto was very easy. Train from Porto Sao bento to braga and bus number 2 from braga city centre to bom Jesus.

Don't walk if you don't want to - ride the funicular. But the trip to see the site is worth it. Be sure to do both views (up and down). Also, do not fall for the "gravity hill" story (things rolling uphill). Still an optical...More

Climb this 116 meter set of stairs. An impressive architectural spot. The stairs lead to a church and this is a great spot to overlook Braga and environs.
